Las Cruces Public Libraries to Host Women's History Discussion

The Las Cruces Public Libraries in Las Cruces, NM will be celebrating Women's History Month by adding a new book discussion group focused on Reproductive Justice. The Social Justice book discussion group will convene on March 26th at the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library to discuss the highlighted titles for the month. One of the books to be discussed is "All you have to Do is Call" by Kerri Maher, which is set in Chicago in the early 1970s. The story follows Veronica, the founder of a women's health organization called Jane, as she navigates helping women in need while balancing her personal life, including a high-risk pregnancy. The novel explores the challenges faced by women during a time when personal decisions were deeply intertwined with political implications.
