Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has reported a deputy involved shooting in the city of Castaic. The incident took place around 12:00 p.m. today at the intersection of Parker Road and Sloan Canyon Road.

Deputies responded to a call for service at this location. Following their arrival, a shooting involving a deputy occurred. The suspect was taken to a local hospital, but their current condition is unknown. Importantly, all deputies involved in the incident are reported to be uninjured and accounted for.
