Captain Reidhead: Honoring Indigenous Peoples Day Service

In honor of Indigenous Peoples Day, the Phoenix Fire Department highlighted Captain Todd Reidhead for his 18 years of service. Captain Reidhead is a paramedic and a hazardous materials technician. He began his career at the first all Native American fire academy with the Gila River Indian Community. Captain Reidhead maintains a strong connection to his Lakota, Mandan, and Hidatsa heritage, participating in native ceremonies and teaching his son about their history. He is also recognized as a dedicated husband and father. Additionally, Captain Reidhead holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, reflecting the warrior spirit of his ancestors.
