The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of South Florida will be providing assistance to businesses affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. A mobile assistance center will be set up at the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, located at 1945 Fruitville Rd., Sarasota, FL 34236.

The mobile assistance center will operate from Thursday, October 17, to Saturday, October 19, with hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this time, business owners can receive guidance from certified consultants on various recovery programs, including the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), SBA Physical Disaster Loan, and the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program.

This initiative aims to support local businesses in their efforts to rebuild and recover following the hurricanes. Community members are encouraged to visit the center for personalized assistance.
