**Ponderosa Elementary School Spotlight: Becky Pereira**
Santa Clara, CA - Becky Pereira, a third-grade teacher at Ponderosa Elementary School, has been recognized by the Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD). Principal Nathen Ramezane commended her ability to build a classroom community that fosters kindness, respect, and responsibility among students.
Principal Ramezane stated that Becky takes the time to understand her students on various levels, allowing her to effectively utilize her instructional skills to support them. Additionally, she is an active member of the Site Leadership Team, where she represents her colleagues and contributes ideas to enhance the school community while maintaining a focus on student needs.
